Flaw Cars: a transparent way to buy accident cars

Buying an accident car has traditionally meant hidden issues, incomplete repairs and inflated markups. Flaw Cars set out to fix that with a platform where every car is inspected, priced transparently and offered with repair options customers can trust. Designed, built and launched in one month.

The challenge

The market Flaw Cars walked into was full of roadblocks:

  • Dealers listed cars with misleading claims about repairs.
  • Customers had no way to compare cars or understand true repair costs.
  • Everything needed manual dealer and admin work.
  • The path from discovery to purchase was fragmented and confusing.
What we built

The system, piece by piece.

Three connected portals

Inspector, dealer and admin portals sharing one connected system, so every step has an owner and an audit trail.

VIN-powered uploads in under 5 minutes

Inspectors enter a VIN and APIs pull trim, specs, 360-degree views and engine videos automatically.

Smart repair calculator

Damage is assessed automatically into a repair timeline and cost estimate, no guesswork.

Market price engine

Live searches compare similar vehicles so every car is priced fairly against the market.

Gamified shortlisting

A floating shortlist bar keeps progress visible and nudges customers to compare at least two cars.

WhatsApp at the core

OTP login via WhatsApp with SMS fallback, dealer logins delivered by WhatsApp, and approved listings broadcast to groups automatically.

The outcome
  • 5-minute car uploads

Listing time dropped from a manual slog to minutes.

  • Repair costs upfront

Customers see repair estimates next to market prices before deciding.

  • Faster decisions

Gamified shortlisting lifted engagement and sped up choices.

  • Admin work automated

Dealer creation, VIN decoding, estimates and WhatsApp distribution run themselves.
