AI Consulting

Where does AI actually pay?

AI consulting that ends in working software, not a slide deck. We look at your business, tell you honestly where AI pays and where it does not, and stay to build the part that does.

The advice has to survive being built by the people who gave it.

The short version

Most AI consulting hands you a deck and a bill, then leaves before anyone finds out whether the advice was any good. Ours is the opposite. We look at how your business actually runs, tell you the places AI genuinely pays and the places it is a distraction, and then we stay and build the first one. The advice is judged by working software, not by the slides.

That changes what the advice is worth. A firm charging by the hour for a strategy you then hand to someone else to build is incentivised to make it bigger. We are incentivised to make it right, because we are the ones who have to ship it. So the advice tends to be shorter, more specific, and pointed at the one thing most likely to pay.

The reason to trust a call about what to build is a track record of building. We have shipped six products, from a multi-model AI platform to a WhatsApp parts assistant, in two weeks to three months each, all in the portfolio below. If you would rather have the plan as a standalone document to keep and hand to any builder, that is our AI strategy consulting.

Where AI pays, and where it doesn't

The calls we actually make on a first look, not a menu of services. And the reason to trust them: we build what we recommend.

01

Where it pays

The repetitive high-volume work, the decisions you make over and over on data you already hold, the jobs a competent person could do from a written procedure. This is where AI returns more than it costs, and it is where we point you first.

02

Where it doesn't

The demo that impresses in a meeting and dies in production. The model bolted onto a process that was never ready for it. We will tell you where AI is a distraction or a rebranded spreadsheet, which is the call a firm paid for the deck has no reason to make.

03

Buy it, don't build it

If a tool already does eighty percent of the job, we say so, and the honest move is to buy it and wire it in for a fraction of a build. Custom is the answer only when the search comes back empty.

04

The build, not the binder

The reason to trust our read on what to build is that we build. ZeroBot.ai went from nothing to a live AI platform with every major model and an agent builder, in six weeks. Advice from people who ship is a different thing from advice from people who only advise.

05

Priced to be built

We do not bill by the hour for a strategy and then disappear. The advice is scoped toward the build it recommends, so what you pay buys working software at the end, not a well-designed opinion.

How it works

We go looking for the places AI actually pays, before anyone talks features.

01

We find where it pays

We sit with how your business really runs and look for the jobs where AI genuinely returns: the repetitive work, the decisions made on data you already have. We are hunting for value, not for somewhere to put a model, and the two are not the same thing.

02

We tell you straight

You get the honest read, including the noes and the places to buy a tool instead of building one. It is advice you could act on with anyone, and if the answer is that you do not need AI yet, we say that too rather than sell you something.

03

We scope the first one

We take the single highest-return bet and cut it down to the smallest version that proves it, so the first thing you build is the thing most likely to pay. This is the step that turns a recommendation into a real number.

04

We stay and build it

This is where we part company with the firms that hand over a deck. We build the first one, on your stack, in your name, and it ships. The advice earns its keep by becoming software you can use, not a plan you are left to execute alone.

Advice we have to build

A firm paid for the deck is gone before the invoice for bad advice arrives. We are not. Because we stay and build what we recommend, a bad call costs us too: our time, our reputation, our next fortnight. That is the cheapest quality control there is, and no hourly consultant has it.

So we only recommend what we would be willing to build ourselves. It is why the noes on this page are as important as the yeses, and why the advice tends to be shorter and more specific than a strategy deck. Skin in the game is the difference between advice and a well-argued opinion.

Meet the Nine Brains

Questions, answered

What does an AI consultant actually do?

A good one works out where AI genuinely pays in your specific business, tells you plainly where it does not, and helps you act on that. The weak version stops at a slide deck. Ours does the first part and then stays to build the highest-return piece, so the advice is tested by whether the software works, not by how the presentation looked.

How much does AI consulting cost?

We do not bill for the thinking separately. Where the market charges by the hour for advice, roughly $150 to over a thousand dollars an hour depending on the firm, and stops at the recommendation, ours is folded into the build it points to. Our build tier starts at $2,500 one-time, with the option to have us run and grow it on Growth Partner, an introductory $1,250 a month that renews at $2,500 a month. What you pay for is working software, not a document you then have to get built.

How are you different from a big consulting firm?

The big firms are excellent at the analysis and then hand it to someone else to build, or to you. We build what we recommend, which changes the advice: we cannot afford to suggest something impressive that does not ship, because we are the ones who have to ship it. Less letterhead, more accountability.

Do we own the advice, and can we take it elsewhere?

Yes. The advice and any plan we produce are yours, and you are free to build them with anyone. If what you want is specifically a standalone document to keep and hand to another builder, that is our AI strategy consulting, which is built to be portable by design.

What if the answer is that we don't need AI?

Then we tell you, and that is a real and useful outcome rather than a failed sale. Half the value of honest advice is the projects it stops you from funding. We would rather you remember us as the people who saved you a wasted year than sell you a build that was never going to pay.
